Musical Theater is a weekly 45 minute class designed to help students prepare to perform a combined song/dance. During class we will work on large group vocal and dance instruction. Please note – This class is not meant to replace private voice lessons or technical/genre specific dance instruction. This is a beginning/intermediate class where performers will learn group singing skills, movement and gain performance experience in a positive environment. While we will work on some technical aspects, this class will focus on combining and polishing those skills in a group setting. The students will learn various songs throughout the year but will only perform 2 at the spring performance. Dawn has years of experience teaching vocal lessons as well as musical theatre classes. This class will nurture student musicianship, build confidence, and encourage artistic expression through vocals and dance. This is a co-ed class. Class is 45 minutes once a week and tuition is $55/month
