Jamie Grill

Jamie Grill grew up in Southern California, where she studied at various dance studios and gained a broad education in different ballet methods. She trained at summer ballet programs, learned from New York City Ballet Balanchine-trained ballerinas, and later became a member of Ballet Repertoire Theater, a pre-professional company based in Huntington Beach, California. Although an injury from a car accident cut her performing career short, her love for ballet never left her.

Jamie met her husband in Wyoming 22 years ago, and they have made Star Valley their home for the past 20 years. She loves Wyoming’s beauty and ruggedness, and their family enjoys spending time outdoors camping, boating, and going on SxS rides. Together, they are raising a 16-year-old son and a 13-year-old daughter. Recently, Jamie has been a stay-at-home mom and has homeschooled her children. She is excited to return to the world of dance and share her knowledge with students. Teaching has become an unexpected joy and the perfect way to stay connected to a passion that has always remained with her.
